The original candy cane was made 350 years ago. Over time the candy cane has become a symbol and tradition during the Christmas holiday, used as a decoration for Christmas trees. In Christendom, the candy cane can be used to (1) Teach us about Sin; (2) Teach us about the Shepherds, (3) Teach us about Righteousness, (4) Teach us about Sacrifice, and (5) Teach us about the Savior.
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed” (Isa 53:5).
