We should always rely completely on the Holy Spirit to change hearts. The Believer’s goal is to point unbelievers to Christ and trust that the Holy Spirit will change their hearts.
The Chistian who neglects the Holy Spirit is like a lamp that’s not plugged in – (Precept Austin). When you open your Bible, ask the Author to open your mind and heart.
We can’t see the Holy Spirit of God with our physical eyes, but we can see the effects of the Holy Spirit. It’s for this reason that the Bible uses various symbols – often common, earthly objects – to describe who the Holy Spirit is and what He does.
