In order for Christians to love themselves they must first love God and others. After this, the love for self will follow. Christian Love is based on these three key points: (1) Love for God, (2) Love for Others, and (3) Love for Self.
- “…. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. ….. Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matt 22:37-39).
