Faith in God’s Word, not feelings, is the spring from which this Assurance of Salvation flows. Feelings are changeable and therefore unreliable. Assurance is full confidence of the Believer’s Salvation in Christ. At the moment of Salvation, the Blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleansed Believers of all their sins: Past, Present and Future.
