On May 19, 1914, by an act of Congress, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the second Sunday in May as Mother’s Day. He established the day as a time of “public expression of our love and reverence for the mothers of our country.”
o “Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised” (Prov 31:30).
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
