The Works of the Bible: Keeps us From Evil Ways, Lights our Feet and Path, Keeps us From Iniquity, and Keeps us From Transgressions. 

To have the mind of Christ is to have the attitude of Christ:  in our relationships with one another – in love, compassion, humility, and forgiveness.  It is to have the same mindset or thinking that Christ has toward lost sinners, the Bible and Christian Doctrines. 

Jesus set the standard for righteousness in Matthew 5:20 – Jesus said, “Except your righteousness exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.  None but the righteous shall see God.

(3) The Bible is to Keep Us from Going Astray.

are concerned only for themselves, seeds of discord are sown in the Body of Christ.  Paul, therefore, encourages Believers to exhibit Spiritual Unity with each other – Love one another, work together with one heart and purpose (“being of one accord of one mind” – v. 2).

Jesus is the One and Only True Savior. Eternal Life is only found in Jesus Christ.

The Works of the Bible: The Bible Teaches What is Right, The Bible is to Cleanse Us, The Bible is to Prevent us from Sinning and The Bible is to Quicken Us.

Believers are to demonstrate Conduct Worthy of the Gospel by:

(1) Standing Firm for the Gospel; (2) Striving Together for the Gospel, and (3) Suffering for the Gospel.
