The Lord’s Supper sets forth the message that salvation is by grace alone, on the merits of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, and not by anything that we can do.

The Book of Proverbs teaches us to do what is right and corrects us when we are wrong. A. The Book of Proverbs teaches us to trust in God.

Today’s subject – “The Gospel of Christ – is taken from verse 16 of our text. It is a clear declaration of God’s Power to save all who believe in Christ regardless of their race, nationality or condition.

“Fools Love Simplicity” – Simplicity is to be simple-minded, having or showing very little intelligence or judgment. The simple-minded person has no desire to change.

Paul was a faithful witness both in the life that he lived and the message that he preached (Acts 20:18-21).  We are to be sincere when sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others – It is a matter of life or death. 

The Hymn “Rescue the Perishing” was written by Frances “Fanny” Cosby and is used as the title for this message. As Believers, let us heighten our duty as soul winners – warning the unsaved that “The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”

As Christians, we have received our Marching Orders from Christ. Every Christian is to be constantly on the job of winning the lost to Christ. It is the responsibility of every Christian to be a Soul-Winner.

The church is a called-out people. The church is a who, not a what. It is a living organism Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church. The church is not a building, it is a Body of Believers, it is not a business, it is the Bride of Christ, chosen by the Father.
