To have the mind of Christ is to have the attitude of Christ:  in our relationships with one another – in love, compassion, humility, and forgiveness.  It is to have the same mindset or thinking that Christ has toward lost sinners, the Bible and Christian Doctrines. 

Jesus set the standard for righteousness in Matthew 5:20 – Jesus said, “Except your righteousness exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.  None but the righteous shall see God.

are concerned only for themselves, seeds of discord are sown in the Body of Christ.  Paul, therefore, encourages Believers to exhibit Spiritual Unity with each other – Love one another, work together with one heart and purpose (“being of one accord of one mind” – v. 2).
