This study will explore two ways in which a Believer is to Live a Holy Life: (1) Love Not the World, and (2) Flee from Temptation.

Resurrection Sunday (Easter) is the celebration of Jesus Christ from the dead.  This one truth is what sets Christianity apart from every other system of belief in the world.  Christianity teaches that its Founder (Jesus) “died … was buried … and rose again the third day” (1 Cor 15:3-4). 

The Cross of Jesus Christ is the Cornerstone of Christianity. It is the chosen symbol of the Christian Faith. In this message we will review the seven last sayings that Jesus made on the Cross.

The Lord’s Supper is a visible representation of The Gospel – Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Cor 15:3-4). It reminds Christians of Christ’s death and the glorious hope of His return. It strengthens our faith through fellowship with Christ and other Believers.

Every Christian should Proclaim the Gospel.  We are accountable to God and the Lord Jesus Christ for our faithfulness in telling others about Jesus Christ.  

We should love God “because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19).  God demonstrated His love for us by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us. 

Jesus is the Greatest Substitute who ever lived. We were sentenced to death. He became our substitute. He rushed to the Cross and Died in Our Stead. When we accept Christ as Savior – Life, Peace, Joy and Salvation comes to us.

The anonymous writer of Psalms 116 reveals that God saved him from death.  Being near death, he cried out to God who heard him and delivered him.  Deliverance is indicative of God’s nature.  Therefore, the psalmist praised God for his deliverance.
